History of St Andrew’s By The Sea in Black Rock
The genesis of the Church was in 1890 when the first congregational service was held. The first combined Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian service occurred in December 1923. The Uniting Church was formed in June 1977 and the combined Church in Black Rock occurred at that time with the name "St Andrew's by the Sea, Black Rock" adopted in Nov 1984. In the late 1980's St Andrew's joined with St Martin's Beaumaris Uniting Church to form a combined Parish of Beaumaris Black Rock Uniting Church.
St Andrew's became a stand alone congregation in October 2015.
